There are miles and miles of trails out the front door for running, biking, and apparently skiing here in a few months!!! Additionally, the penobscot/stillwater are rivers here in town that are not only picturesque but are also renowned small mouth bass fisheries. Atlantic run salmon actually inhabit the river as well but they are a prohibited fishery due to their numbers...The damns are coming down though on the river to facilitate the return of the spawning fish.
