Seaplane fly in

Travels with the Maine blueberry!  This weekend was the annual international seaplane fly in, in Greenville Maine (see below).  Greenville is the "gateway" to Moosehead lake and the surrounding region.  Moosehead is the largest lake in New England and surrounded by endless wilderness!!!

"Lily Bay state park" (pictured above)...Just north of the lake is the infamous "Golden Road", still a logging road but, it is used by the locals to access the Allagash Wilderness, Baxter State Park, and Maine's 100 mile wilderness.  We drove for 20-30 mins or so and found ourselves in Kokadjo; the last stop prior to miles and miles of dirt road.
