A New Year!!!

FORGIVE THE DELAY, HAVE HAD SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES!!!

Well the holidays are behind us and we had a great time as previously stated visiting with friends and family! As alluded to in our last post, we shared a "green" x-mas actually, which was short lived and the next day we drove home from work to find the driveway impassable. No need to worry though as we are appropriately outfitted for the maine winter now...STANDARD ISSUE BEANS!!!

The snow has been great and we enjoyed some new hobbies:

The snow has also been interesting as admittedly I never really understood the reason for shoveling the drive or snowblowing.  I understand now...Keenan and I both arrived home from an overnight shift recently and she was unable to get into the driveway due to deep snow and the fact that the snow plows had created a wall of snow obstructing the entrance to the drive!!!

We have made it up to Carrabassett valley to ski at sugarloaf...Amazing day and beautiful part of Maine...and the mountain is actually the 2nd highest in the state.
Otherwise work it going well and we are enjoying becoming part of the local community.  We look forward to visitors for the remainder of winter and stay tuned for some posts/pics from our next trip to the Quebec city winter carnival in a couple weeks.
